About the Authors

JUSTIN was born in Sydney, Australia, and spent his childhood making Super 8 movies in the backyard. In High School he wrote musicals, plays and stage revues for the local theatre group. He left school with the ambition of becoming a writer; but, realising that success might not come immediately, he established a video production company to make video clips, TV commercials and short films. This business took a lot of his time, and never really made the vast fortune desired to support his writing ambition. Ironically, when he decided to wind down the business and have a serious crack at writing, his first book Space Dogs was quickly picked up by the US publisher, Random House.

Justin adores dogs.

EVAN is from Canberra, Australia. Storytelling began young, putting a cape around the family dog's neck to make superhero movies in high school. For the Australian Broadcasting Corporation he ran a comedy unit before getting into publishing with 'Space Dogs' (Knopf/Random House), 'Bottle from the Sea' (Wendy Pye/Sunshine) and short stories. He dabbles in short plays and award-winning musicals. Currently, he looks after social media for ACT Wildlife (wildlife rescuers and carers) continuing the animal theme in his life. When not writing he's a media teacher at the Canberra Institute of Technology.

Space Dogs is Justin and Evan’s first novel and is published in the USA, Canada and Australia. They are now working on the Space Dogs radio serial and the book Space Dogs 2.
